The Master of bioengineering Program is broad based and is devoted to application of engineering principles to the understanding of human body machine in health and disease, its medical care, its performance and impact in normal and hazardous environment. The principle areas of focus are biomaterials for orthopaedic, dental application, rehabilitation and medical instruments. Faculty research areas include biomechanics, tribology, artificial joints, tooth and bone implant design and also rehabs-aids and biomedical instrumentation, design and development.
