Welding Technology Centre (WTC) at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, has been formed to strengthen the understanding and co-operation in promoting the development of Welding / Joining Technology.
WTC is already engaged in the following activities:

* Training programme for personnel engaged in various levels in Industry. Industry specific, Need based and In-House training programmes are available
* Long & Short term Academic Courses (Diploma in Welding Technology)
* Necessary and evident testing facilities for weldments
* Consultancy service for Assessment & Solution of Industrial Problems
* Failure Analysis
* Technology Audits
