The Centre is located in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and is engaged in
• Organising courses, seminars, symposia and congresses on quality management systems and environmental management systems for industries and institutes
• Helping industries to obtain accreditation under ISO 9000, TQM, ISO 14000 and term building
• Spreading awareness of quality and the environmental movement in the industries and in Institutes
• Organising training on specific processes as required by industries conducting research on QMS and EMS-related fields
