Courses Taught/Teaching
Research Area
|
Bio-inorganic Chemistry :
1) On aspects of modifying or simplifying some established anticancer drugs for reasons of high cost and toxic side effects.
2) On aspects of complex formation that lead to reduction in cytotoxicity of different classes of compounds that
are otherwise very useful either as industrial chemicals or in medicine.
3) On aspects of DNA interaction (including method building)of simple inorganic complexes, monitored by spectroscopic and electrochemical techniques in order to understand various mechanisms of drug action.
4) On aspects of radiosensitization by simple inorganic complexes on target nucleic acid bases or DNA or cells.
