Working in Dept. of Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering, Jadavpur University as Reader since June 2005, as Senior Lecturer from July 2001 to June 2005 and as Lecturer from July 1997 to July 2001.
B. Industrial:
Worked in Indian Airlines, Bombay and Calcutta as a Graduate Engineer Trainee from August 1990 till December 1991.
C. Research:
1. Worked in the Department of Electrical Engineering, I.I.T. Kharagpur as Institute Research Scholar for 5 years (January 1992 to December 1996).
2. Worked ad hoc in the Deptt. of Electrical Engineering, IIT, Kharagpur in a TDM-CNIA project \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Design and development of two-phase flowmeter (gas-solid) for pneumatic conveying system\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" sponsored by RDCIS (SAIL,India) and MHRD (Govt. of India) for two months, January and February, 1997.
3. Worked in the Deptt. of Electrical Engineering, IIT, Kharagpur as Mission Engineer-II in the TDM-CNIA project \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Development of monitoring system for Railway OHE parameters\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" sponsored by Southern Railways and MHRD (Govt. of India) since February, 1997 to July 1997.
4. Worked as Principal Investigator in a project entitled “Detection of surface defects in merchant bars by morphologic processing” sanctioned by AICTE, 1998, in the Dept of Instrumentation & Electronics Eng., JU during March 1999 to March 2002.
5. Worked as Visiting Researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Gifu University, Japan from March 2000 to April 2001.
6. Working as Principal Investigator in a project entitled “Non Classical Estimation Techniques for Homing Interceptor Guidance” in the Dept of Instrumentation & Electronics Eng., JU sanctioned by DRDO from April 2005 till 31/03/2009.
7. Worked as Co- Investigator in a project entitled “Development of a Tool for De-coupling Control of Multivariable Processes using Message Passing across embedded Controllers ” in the Department of Power Engineering, Jadavpur University, sponsored by the BRNS(Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences) from 22/06/2004 till 31/12/2008.
