Research Area
|
Research activities in my laboratory mainly focused on two areas: a) studies on magnetic properties of metal assembled complexes with special reference to molecular magnetism and b) designing of heterogeneous catalysts by using the inorganic porous matrices and studies on their catalytic efficacy in industrially important organic reactions. In addition we have successfully design a gold nanoparicle based mesoporous material which efficiently transfers the energy from dye molecules to Au particles. This type of material has potential in light harvesting application.
