• Visited the Manhattan College, New York, USA as a guest faculty in the year 2004.
• Visited the Land Reclamation site of Singapore near Changi Ferry terminal, Singapore as a member of the technical team from National University of Singapore, Singapore, in the year 2006.
• Visited the Tropical Marine Science Institute (TMSI), Singapore as an invited guest faculty in the year 2006.
• Undergone training as part of joint collaborative work between Tokyo Institute of Technology and Port and Airport Research Institute, Tokyo, Japan under the guidance of Prof. Jiro Takemura, Prof. Kusakabe and Dr. Watabe in the year 2007.
• Visited the Yokohama National University, Tokyo, Japan as an invited guest faculty in the year 2007.
